We are a ex South African couple, living in Canada for the past 23 years, who understand the challenges faced during the immigration process. We provide a comprehensive settling service to our fellow South Africans, moving to the Canada. Relocation and Pre-Arrival Services
OUR SPECIALITY
Start your planning the relocation process with us whilst still outside Canada. Let us with your documentation processes, prior to your arrival and thereafter too, to help you settle you into the local systems. Let us help you to open bank accounts, SIN and Health cards, driver's licenses etc.
We guarantee that you will reach us 24/7 to answer your questions in starting the big move to Canada.
Going into quarantine, if applicable, after Arrival
Send us your shopping list prior to departure and we will shop and stock up your place of stay, for you. You do not to rely of on-line ordering, credit cards not working and delivery delays. Yes, we do shop for you understanding what you want following your shopping list, even when our products differ from what you are used to in S.A.
House Hunting Services

We will introduce you to reliable realtors and drive you around ourselves to find permanent accommodation during your stay with us. Remote video conferencing of any prospective properties, prior to arrival, could be arranged as well.
Pick up and drop off
​
We arrange pick up for you from the airport and drop off at your accommodation. We track your progress flying here and re-adjust all schedules, so you need not worry about missing transport or connecting flights. Leave this in our capable hands.
Lekker Landing knows that you will have many bags and items to transport,; we therefore arrange suitable transportation for you.
Self-Catering & Grocery Shopping Support

Fully-equipped kitchen awaits you for self-catering. We also assist you in procuring any products you might need, during your stay or thereafter.
Some local shops are within 5 minutes walking distance. You got to buy your first Tim Horton's coffee from one of these shops around the corners from us!
Local Transportation
Our transport or your rental vehicle.
Let us drive you around to run errands, or rent your own vehicle. We are well connected in the industry and will help you secure a cost effective car rental agreement. We will drive or accompany you to apply for SIN Numbers, OHIP/Health Cards, Opening Bank Accounts, Drivers Tests, Car Rentals, Shopping for children clothing, car seats, groceries, etc.
Accommodation
We offer our Lekker Landing's 3 bedroom home, fully furnished and equipped, for rent to you. Enjoy street access to the house located in a safe and friendly family neighborhood. The room are furnished with King and Queen beds. All utilities and high speed internet/Wi-Fi, streaming TV with Netflix included. Access to large fenced backyard and BBQ. Just bring your luggage, we have the rest covered. We have our own private entrance at the rear side of the home to our lower level apt. (We’re available on from here to assist with anything you need.) . You have total privacy at all times.
Assistance obtaining a sim card
​
We will have your cellphone SIM cards ready upon arrival for you. We arrange pre- paid month to month plans on your behalf. Stay connected with loved ones and business associates from the time you arrive.
Note that free Wi-Fi is available at most places, so you would be able to contact anyone via WhatsApp or Messenger, as well.
Giving you a Break
We will accompany you when you attend in person meetings and open your accounts to keep an eye on the children for you, if required. These places include bank appointments, writing your drivers test, etc.
We are proud "grandparents" of many landed South African family's.
Introduction to Public Transport

We will show you how the public transportation system works, including the GoTrain, Uber and bus services.
Internet & Wifi​
​
Unlimited internet & Wi-Fi available to all guests during your stay at our accomodation. We include streaming TV and Netflix.

We will consider custom requests for services on a case-by-case basis.
